Leah was inducted into the Player’s Hall of Fame in 2015.

Leah played golf at Dyersville Beckman High School from 1989-1992. She was a four time state qualifier, earning medalist honors in 1990 and 1992. She was a two time member of the Iowa 4 State team and won the Iowa State Junior in 1992.


After winning the inaugural E. Wayne Cooley Scholarship, Leah continued playing golf at Simpson College, in Indianola, Iowa. She was a three time IIAC Conference MVP and a four time qualifier for the NCAA Div 2/Div 3 Championships, finishing 5th in 1996.She earned First Team All-American honors from 1994-1996. In addition, she was a two time qualifier for the NCAA Division 1 championships (7 players chosen from Division 2/3). She was fortunate to win a NCAA Post Graduate Scholarship in 1996.

She currently lives in Winter Park, FL with her husband Brad and children Amelia, Raelin and Ethan. She is working as a PGA Teaching Professional at Interlachen Country Club in Winter Park. Previously Leah was the Head Golf Professional at the Country Club of Orlando. In 2003, Leah was named the Assistant Golf Professional of the Year in the North Florida section.
